1.2 These rules include the Promotion Details in Schedule 1. If advertising or promotional material is inconsistent with these rules, these rules prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

1.3 The Promotion is a game of chance conducted under NSW trade promotion authority number TP/03459.

1.4 The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google, or any other third-party platform used to advertise or promote it, unless the Promoter expressly states otherwise in writing.

2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is open only to an individual who, during the Promotion Period:

(a) is a resident of New South Wales;

(b) is aged 18 years or over;

(c) enters in their own name; and

(d) completes a Qualifying Transaction in accordance with clause 4.

2.2 The following persons are ineligible to enter:

(a) a director, employee, contractor or officer of the Promoter who is directly involved in the administration or conduct of the Promotion;

(b) an employee or contractor of a marketing agency, dealer, supplier or other service provider who is directly involved in administering the Promotion or determining the winner;

(c) an immediate family member of a person listed in clause 2.2(a) or 2.2(b); and

(d) any person who does not meet the eligibility criteria in these rules.

2.3 “Immediate family member” means a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grandchild, whether by blood, marriage, adoption or otherwise.

2.4 The Promoter may require an entrant or a provisional winner to provide evidence of identity, age, New South Wales residence and eligibility. If a person does not provide satisfactory evidence within the reasonable time requested, the Promoter may treat the entry as invalid or the Prize as unclaimed, subject to clause 10.

3. Promotion period
3.1 The Promotion commences and ends at the dates and times in Schedule 1. All times are New South Wales local time.

3.2 Entries received outside the Promotion Period are invalid.

4. How to enter
4.1 To enter the Promotion, an eligible entrant must complete a Qualifying Transaction during the Promotion Period.

4.2 A “Qualifying Transaction” is a purchase by an eligible entrant of an Eligible Product from the Promoter where:

(a) the entrant signs the relevant MNC Solar Power contract during the Promotion Period;

(b) the entrant pays the deposit required under that contract; and

(c) the Promoter receives and clears the deposit before the close of the Promotion Period.

4.3 “Eligible Product” means:

(a) a new residential solar-only system supplied by the Promoter;

(b) a new residential battery-storage system supplied by the Promoter;

(c) a new residential solar-and-battery package supplied by the Promoter under one contract; or

(d) an eligible battery-storage expansion supplied by the Promoter to an existing MNC Solar Power residential customer,

in each case as confirmed by the Promoter’s contract and product records. Before publication, MNC Solar Power must confirm whether any product, battery model, system size, capacity, contract value, repair, replacement, commercial installation or other transaction type is excluded.

4.4 The Eligible Product must be purchased at the Promoter’s normal retail price. There is no separate entry fee. The purchase price of the Eligible Product is not a fee for entering the Promotion.

4.5 After a Qualifying Transaction is verified, the Promoter will allocate the entrant the number of entries stated in Schedule 1 and will record those entries in the Promoter’s competition-entry register. The Promoter may send the entrant an entry confirmation by email, SMS or another electronic method.

4.6 The entry categories in Schedule 1 are the only entry method. An entrant cannot receive an entry for leaving a review, providing a rating or testimonial, referring a customer, sharing or liking content, following an account, attending an event, or completing any other activity that is not a Qualifying Transaction.

4.7 Entries do not stack. If an entrant completes more than one Qualifying Transaction, only the entry allocation with the highest number of entries applies, up to the maximum five (5) entries per entrant. For example, a qualifying solar-and-battery package receives five (5) entries, not the combined total of solar-only and battery-only entries.

4.8 An entry may be removed or cancelled before the Draw if the Promoter reasonably determines that:

(a) the Qualifying Transaction has been cancelled, rescinded, terminated or refunded in full;

(b) the required deposit has been reversed, dishonoured or has not cleared;

(c) the transaction is not genuine or has been entered into primarily to manipulate the Promotion;

(d) the entrant is ineligible; or

(e) the entrant has provided false, misleading or incomplete information or otherwise breached these rules.

4.9 The Promoter is not responsible for an entry that is lost, late, corrupted, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, misdirected, not recorded as a result of a technical or administrative error, or otherwise not received by the Promoter, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Entry register and draw preparation
5.1 The Promoter will keep a competition-entry register that records each verified entry and assigns it a unique entry identifier.

5.2 After the Promotion closes, the Promoter will reconcile the competition-entry register against its contract, payment and customer records. The Promoter may exclude invalid entries before the Draw in accordance with these rules.

5.3 For each final valid entry identifier, the Promoter will generate one securely numbered physical draw ticket. The tickets will be placed in a secure draw barrel before the Draw.

5.4 The Promoter will keep reasonable records of entry validation, ticket generation and the Draw for the fair conduct of the Promotion and for the handling of any complaint.

6. The Draw
6.1 The Draw will take place at the time, date and location in Schedule 1.

6.2 An independent radio representative nominated by the Promoter will randomly draw one (1) ticket from the secure draw barrel. The person associated with the first valid entry identifier drawn is the provisional winner.

6.3 The Promoter will film the Draw. The filmed record is intended to promote transparency. A delay, interruption or technical failure in filming, live-streaming or transmission does not invalidate a Draw that is otherwise conducted in accordance with these rules.

6.4 The Promoter will keep a record of the Draw, including the winning entry identifier, time and date of Draw, and the identity of the person who drew the ticket.

7. Prize
7.1 There is one (1) prize: the Prize Vehicle and the inclusions stated in Schedule 1.

7.2 The Prize Vehicle is a new 2026 BYD ATTO 1 in Arctic Blue with Black + Grey interior. It is available for public viewing at the Promoter’s showroom during the Promotion Period, subject to reasonable access, security and availability requirements.

7.3 The Prize Vehicle will remain new, unregistered and non-demonstrator throughout the Promotion. It will not be used as a Promoter company vehicle or a dealer demonstrator.

7.4 The Prize value is $27,609, including GST. This is the drive-away value and includes 12 months’ NSW registration commencing from the Draw date, compulsory third-party insurance, NSW stamp duty and dealer delivery.

7.5 The Prize also includes one (1) EV Charger including installation in close proximity to the main switchboard subject to site-assessment, within 90 days of the competition closing. This only applies to the winner of the contest. Not transferable (e.g only applicable for the competition winner, can not be passed on).

7.6 The Prize does not include comprehensive vehicle insurance after the Prize Vehicle has been handed over, motor vehicle running costs, charging costs, electricity costs, tolls, parking, servicing, repairs, maintenance, home electrical works, or any cost not expressly stated as included in Schedule 1.

7.7 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. It must be registered in the winner’s name, unless otherwise required by law.

7.8 If the exact Prize Vehicle is unavailable due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute a new vehicle of equal or greater retail value, subject to applicable law and any notification or approval required by NSW Fair Trading. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to notify entrants of any substitution.

7.9 The Prize Vehicle is subject to the manufacturer’s and dealer’s standard warranty and supply terms. Nothing in those third-party terms limits any right the winner has under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Winner notification and announcement
8.1 The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to contact the provisional winner within two (2) business days after the Draw, using the contact details supplied in connection with the Qualifying Transaction. The Promoter may contact the provisional winner by telephone, email, SMS and/or other direct electronic communication.

8.2 After the provisional winner has been validated, the Promoter will announce the winner’s first name, surname initial, suburb and Prize description on the Promoter’s website and Facebook page. The Promoter may also announce the winner through radio and other campaign media.

8.3 The Promoter may ask the winner for separate written consent to use their image, voice, name or story in publicity beyond the announcement in clause 8.2. Consent is not a condition of receiving the Prize.

9. Claiming and handing over the Prize
9.1 To claim the Prize, the provisional winner must, by the Prize Claim Deadline:

(a) respond to the Promoter’s notification;

(b) provide any reasonable eligibility evidence requested under clause 2.4;

(c) sign reasonable Prize-acceptance and vehicle-handover documents; and

(d) cooperate with the dealer to complete registration and transfer of the Prize Vehicle.

9.2 Prize handover will take place at BYD Port Macquarie, 100 Hastings River Drive, Port Macquarie NSW 2444, or another reasonable location agreed by the Promoter and the winner, after the winner has satisfied clause 9.1 and the Prize Vehicle is available for delivery.

9.3 The winner is responsible for collecting the Prize Vehicle from the handover location unless the Promoter agrees in writing to another arrangement.

9.4 Ownership, risk and responsibility for the Prize Vehicle pass to the winner when the Prize Vehicle is registered/transferred to the winner and handed over, except to the extent a right cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Unclaimed Prize and redraw
10.1 The Prize may be treated as unclaimed and the provisional winner may forfeit the Prize if the provisional winner:

(a) cannot be contacted after the Promoter has made reasonable efforts using the contact information supplied;

(b) is found to be ineligible;

(c) does not provide requested eligibility evidence within the reasonable time requested;

(d) does not claim the Prize by the Prize Claim Deadline; or

(e) otherwise materially breaches these rules.

10.2 If the Prize is forfeited or cannot be awarded to the provisional winner, the Promoter will conduct the unclaimed-prize redraw at the time, date and location in Schedule 1.

10.3 The redraw will be conducted from the remaining valid entries using the same method stated in clause 6. The redraw winner will be contacted and announced in accordance with clause 8, and this clause 10 will apply again if necessary.

10.4 The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner before any redraw is conducted.

11. Privacy
11.1 The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, allocate entries, conduct the Draw, contact and announce the winner, supply the Prize, manage complaints and comply with legal obligations.

11.2 The Promoter may disclose personal information to its service providers, dealer, charger supplier/installer, professional advisers and government agencies where reasonably necessary to conduct the Promotion, deliver the Prize or comply with law.

11.3 Entry into the Promotion is not conditional on the entrant agreeing to receive unrelated direct marketing. The Promoter will request any consent required for marketing separately and will provide a means to opt out in accordance with applicable law.

11.4 The Promoter handles personal information in accordance with its privacy policy at mncsolarpower.com.au/privacy-policy. An entrant may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter at [email protected].

12. Social-media platform conditions
12.1 If the Promotion is advertised or promoted through a third-party social-media platform, each entrant acknowledges that:

(a) the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform;

(b) the entrant releases the platform and its related entities from liability arising in connection with the Promotion, to the extent permitted by law; and

(c) any question, comment or complaint about the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not the platform.

12.2 An entrant is solely responsible for content that they publish or transmit on a third-party platform in connection with the Promotion.

13. Disputes
13.1 A complaint or dispute about the Promotion must be sent in writing to [email protected] and include enough information for the Promoter to investigate.

13.2 The Promoter will acknowledge a complaint within five (5) business days and will use reasonable efforts to provide a written response within ten (10) business days, or notify the complainant if further time is reasonably required.

13.3 If the complaint is not resolved at first instance, the entrant may request that it be escalated to Dean Galvin [email protected].

13.4 Nothing in these rules limits any right a person may have under applicable law.

14. General
14.1 Nothing in these rules excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

14.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for loss, damage, expense or liability arising from the Promotion or Prize, including technical failures, lost or misdirected entries, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud, third-party acts, or a failure or delay of a dealer, supplier or installer, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

14.3 The Promoter may cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion if an event outside its reasonable control materially affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, subject to applicable law and any notification or approval required by NSW Fair Trading.

14.4 The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process, seeks to manipulate the Promotion, provides false or misleading information, acts in a disruptive manner, or otherwise breaches these rules.

14.5 These rules are governed by the laws of New South Wales. The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over a dispute arising in connection with these rules.
